Hiatus of sorts

In the last 12-18 months, I completed my Master's degree, found a job, moved house, started that job, and here I am. It's been a time of major transitions and I literally forgot about this personal website project until the domain name registration renewal email appeared.

I'd like to get the site to a place where I can spend more time adding content and less time fiddling with the generator and CSS and navigation.

Context Switching

It's hard to remember where I was on this project, but here's a short list of things I'd like to tackle in the near future:

• "Now" content and/or page
• "Contact" content and/or page
• Some kind of home page
• CSS and fonts from scratch, to replace Skeleton
• Responsive layout

Styling

I've always used some sort of starter framework for CSS, but to make this site more of a learning experience I'm thinking of rolling it myself.

I've always found doing layouts with CSS very challenging, but with CSS Grid and Flexbox now widely supported I don't see why I should learn a fraemwork versus just learning how to use those! It will make maintaining this site much more of a learning experience, and it can be fun to look through other personal websites linked to from the 11ty docs and see how people did things.
